Reed Procurement and Supply Chain are excited to be working with an industry leading supply chain company, recruiting for the role of an Assistant Planner, working within the Container Division to assist the execution and planning of Planning Strategy operations.The crucial requirements for this role are:- History working in a Container terminal in a planning department- Key use of Navis N4 and XPS- Past contribution to project initiatives- Microsoft Office skillsThe role is detailed as follows:- Create relationships with planning and operational staff of Port clients- Complete verification checks on N4 data entry- Assist with duties and responsibilities according to Company policy/procedure- Compilation of statistical data- Investigate and assess situationsand operations for improvement- Have wide knowledge of XPS and N4- Help Planning Team deliver needs of shipping lines and co-ordination centres, leading to effective operations for both landside and shipside operationsThe role requires a focused awareness of the Operations environment, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment.Benefits:- Working for an industry leading company- Competitive salaryIf you are interested in this role, please apply now.
