Excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant/Assistant Financial Controller to join a £55m+ t/o UK manufacturer who operate as an autonomous division of a global US super-brand. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller in a broad and fulfillingrole spanning both financial and management accounting, your remit will include:* Preparation of Period, Quarter and Annual Financial packs* Monthly Balance Sheet accounts review.* Assisting with the completion of Period End accounts.* Assisting with the management of Working Capital and Cash Flow control.* Product margin analysis.* Managing transfer pricing schedules.* Forecasting and budgeting* VAT reconciliation to nominal ledger.* Preparation of Statutory and Tax accounts.* Supporting internal, external and SOX Audits* Ensuring SOX compliance* Overseeing the Financial Accountant (+ 1 PL)* Deputising for the Financial Controller as required.Applicants should be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA professionals who have previously operated in a similar profile role or are skilled across most of the duties above and are ready to make the step. Manufacturing sector experience is highly desired, inparticular experience gained within the UK division of a large US Group involving exposure to US reporting and SOX compliance. Experience of SAP and HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) would also be advantageous. A competitive salary - £53-60k- is complementedwith benefits including 23 days holiday, 4% Pension, Parking and an early Friday finish.
