Our client is looking to appoint an Asset Surveyor (Stock Condition) to join their Assets & Compliance team. Based in our Croxteth HQ, the successful candidate will report in to the Asset Manager and join a friendly, supportive and professional team.This role is key to the delivery of high-quality Asset Management Service for approximately 6000 properties in the Norris Green, Croxteth & Fazakerley area of Merseyside.As an Asset Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring all asset management data collected is accurate and is a true reflection of their stock, working with the Asset Manager to develop their 30 year business plan projections, forecasting component renewalsas well as identifying capital priorities which meet business, tenant & neighbourhood priorities.Working with the Procurement Team you will be the lead officer for the development of technical specifications for the procurement of all Asset Management contracts ensuring they are fully compliant with regulations.The successful candidate must have a proven technical ability to diagnose problems, identify solutions and ensure resolution for their tenants. You must have experience of undertaking stock conditions surveys to a portfolio of tenanted property assets.You will be educated to HND/HNC or degree level or chartered status of RICS/CIOB in a building or services related discipline (or comparable through experience or qualification in role related subject). Driving is an essential requirement for this role,you will need to hold a full-UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.They have a 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and they are currently in the middle of looking at a more agile and flexible way of working, as they realise that work/life balance has never been so important. The salary for the Stock ConditionSurveyor is £34,088.31 per annum rising to £35,882.44 on successful completion of a six-month probation.
