Job Description

Fixed Asset Accountant OpportunityI am currently seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join a Global Accounting Operations Team within a Manufacturing Company.Role Overview:As a member of the Asset Accounting Team, the Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for executing fixed asset accounting processes, project capitalisation, global reconciliation, and generating various fixed asset reports.Responsibilities:

  • Execute fixed asset accounting processes in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Review asset depreciation calculations for all fixed assets and process asset impairments and retirements, seeking necessary approvals as required.
  • Perform project capitalisation as directed.
  • Conduct detailed capital work and global reconciliation across multiple systems, including Clarity.
  • Generate and distribute fixed asset reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely reporting of all fixed asset-related balances, contributing to forecast and budget cycles.
  • Support internal audits and other reporting needs.
Qualifications:
  • Professional certification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong analytical thinking and organisational agility.
Package:
  • Salary up to £45,000
  • Eligible annual merit increase
