Job Description

Apprentice - Business SupportLocation: LiverpoolSalary: £17,500 per annumEmployment Type: Fixed Term, 2 yearsA growth and regeneration group with a strong social purpose, Torus works in partnership with Liverpool City Region and the North West to improve lives and create thriving, vibrant communities through support, investment, development and regeneration.We own and manage around 40,000 homes in Warrington, St Helens, Liverpool and beyond, making Torus the regions largest affordable housing provider.Profits generated by group members Torus Developments and HMS are reinvested into our charitable arm Torus Foundation, a community anchor institution, to fund projects that build social capital and fulfil our mission of growing stronger communities.This is a fantastic opportunity to join Torus as one of our Apprentices. Were offering a 2 year Apprenticeship within our team.This is an important role in which you will:Work flexibly and collaboratively to support the achievement of operational objectives and targets, ensuring a seamless service is provided to customers, which achieves value for money.Be proactive, willing to learn and listen to progress with training and experience required through work-based learning activities and achieve up to NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration.To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A good school/college/work record in terms of attendance, time keeping and conduct
  • High levels of IT literacy and competency in using IT devices
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • An ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative to complete work as appropriate.
  • Evidence of and commitment to continuous professional and personal development
  • A flexible outlook and able to change direction at short notice.
