We are looking for a Remote Application Support Engineer to join a Gambling company who are one of the largest Operators in Europe within the sector and who create bespoke products and services for the Gaming industry, to be responsiblefor providing technical support on the companies production platforms and continuously looking to improve processes automation and monitoring. BENEFITS: Basic salary up to £43k, plus shift allowance depending on experience, 5% bonuses depending on company performance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Perkbox, Discounts on Retail and Online Shopping, enhanced pension and much more,both fully remote and hybrid is available for this position.As an Application Support Engineer, your main responsibility is to provide technical support for our companys production platforms and ensure the smooth operation of applications. You will work closely with a team, troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise, prioritising and categorising support requests, and creating scripts and SQL queries whennecessary. It will be your duty to manage incidents and problems, collaborating with other teams to address root causes and restore services promptly. Monitoring applications and business logic will be essential to meet uptime and performance requirements,and you will continuously strive to improve monitoring and automation processes. Additionally, you will oversee the release management process, ensuring smooth rollouts of features, improvements, and fixes. Producing reports on SLAs and KPIs will be part ofyour regular tasks. Its important to note that you will also be part of an on-call rotation schedule.The company is a leading player in the gambling and betting industry, offering innovative products and services. Their portfolio includes digital platforms and applications for sports betting, casino games, and virtual gaming experiences. As the business operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year there will be shift patterns with this role. The companys UK HQ is based in Liverpool and should you live locally you are more than welcome to work in the office on a hybrid basis, alternative followingthe first few weeks of initial training there would be an opportunity to work remote full time. The shifts are 9am -5pm weekdays (3 in 5 weeks), 8am-4.30pm weekdays (1 in 5 weeks), 1.30pm - 10pm weekdays (1 in 5 weeks), 8am-4.30pm weekends (1 in 5 weeks),1.30pm - 10pm weekends (1 in 5 weeks) and on call one in five weeks.Key Requirements:
