Analyst - Credit Portfolio Excluding London18-month secondment/FTCVacancy closing date 13th July A bit about the role...Working in a team with Ben Frain our Head of Credit Portfolio, you will play a critical role in delivering an industry standard service to our 350,000 customers. You will be joining our highly skilled team, who are committed to using data and customer insightsto manage and continuously improve the customer journey. You will be directly responsible for all our interactions with customers, including loan origination, servicing, complaints, customer communications and social media. As well an in-house team you willbe responsible for managing our four major outsourcers and engaging with our Digital teams to transform and evolve our service. The Portfolio Data & Analytics is a new team within Help to Buy, and offers a unique opportunity to shape the future, with a focus on ensuring our customers are treated fairly and strong data quality and governance is fundamental to the success of this. Workingwith key stakeholders and a professional cross functional team you will share best practice within HtB and other Agency teams as they develop their capability in this space. The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects around data quality as well as the setting up of a new data quality process. There are some ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day today delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the root cause of problems and propose appropriate solutions.A bit about you…Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.Youll be comfortable supporting the investigation and resolution of a range of critical data quality issues with complex analysis, aiming to execute the appropriate actions to ensure remediation.You will be familiar with working in a data quality control and improvement environment, as well as:Experience within operational Finance/Data and Finance/Data Architecture. Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation and communication skills. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. Demonstrable experience in a role that includes problem solving, analytical and logical skills. Ideally an understanding of Homes England & Help to Buy processes from both a Finance and Operational perspective. Be able to efficiently collect, manipulate and present large/complex datasets Data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment skills Designing and building data infrastructure/automated reporting tools Comfortable giving definition to ambiguous problems, can do this independently with limited guidance. Verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including experience of effectively communicating with both business and technical teams. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
