Job Description

AML COMPLIANCE ANALYSTUp to £35,000Liverpool (Hybrid)COMPANYWe are currently seeking an AML Compliance Analyst for a leading finance company based in Liverpool. Our client is a market leader in a niche sector and takes pride in offering a unique finance model to its customers. Joining their team will provide youwith an opportunity to make a significant impact in combating money laundering activities and reducing financial crime rates.ROLE DECSRIPTIONAs an AML Compliance Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Optimizing and enhancing AML processes and procedures throughout the company.
  • Drafting daily suspicious activity reports.
  • Preparing witness statements.
  • Utilizing financial crime systems to proactively prevent fraud and financial crimes.
  • Reviewing alerts with a focus on AML and sanctions.
  • Collaborating with law enforcement agencies to provide requested information.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience as an AML/Financial Crime Analyst within the financial services industry.
  • Mentoring experience, guiding junior financial crime analysts.
  • Proficiency in using fraud and financial crime systems such as Cifas and SIRA.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
  • Strong background in financial crime investigation and prevention.
  • Experience working on AML, sanctions, and transaction monitoring projects.
