Job Description

Do you have experience in treasury, accounts payable or corporate insolvency, and would like to advance your career in a rapidly growing team Are you an enthusiastic and results orientated individual, with people management experience, hoping to gain further experience in a supervisory roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Supervisor to join a large international business based in Liverpool City Centre, on an initial 12 month FTC (with a 99.9% probability of it becoming permanent)My client is fast becoming one of the regions largest financial institutions. Based in the heart of Liverpools business district, they have created over 100 new jobs in the last 12 months alone, and havent finished yet!Primarily based from home, with the occasional journey into the office (once or twice per month) Responsibilities include:

  • Management and review of team members work (VAT returns, payments, Bank Reconciliations, other ad-hoc duties).
  • Supervise, allocate work and review outputs of treasury staff.
  • Maintain and enhance all operational banking relationships.
  • Support, coach, train and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Undertake any process improvement projects required.
We are looking for a well-organised individual with a professional level of communication and excellent time management. Other requirements include:
  • Strong Accounting Knowledge
  • ACCA Part Qualified or equivalent degree/professional qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience from an accountancy practice (desirable).
  • Experience with people and performance management (essential)
  • Good stakeholder/client management skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using desktop and/or cloud accounting packages are desirable but not essential.
