Accounts Senior (Practice) - Liverpool City Centre - To £30,000 (DOE) plus study support for AAT / ACCADescription:One of Liverpools largest independent accountancy practices is offering a position within their accounting division, which has arisen due to an internal promotion.This leading firm of chartered accountants has an excellent reputation in the market, and employs over 100 staff across their audit, accounting, taxation and payroll divisions.Reporting to the Senior Accounts Manager and Accounts Manager, you will be working with a wide variety of clients across a diverse mix of industry sectors. Responsibilities will include:·Prepare Limited Company Accounts for clients within the SME sector and have a good knowledge of accounts compliance. ·Provide advice and guidance to clients as required. ·Be proficient in use of Cloud systems in all activities, providing training and support to clients both at their premises and remotely. ·Assist with training and mentoring junior members of the team and review of their work.Essential Requirements:·Relevant experience in the preparation of financial accounts. ·AAT/ACCA qualified or part qualfied or qualified by experience ·Experience of Cloud-based systems, eg Xero, Quickbooks, etc. ·Competent MS Office skills ·Good communication and presentation skills ·Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlinesThe firm has a number of AAT and ACA / ACCA trainees and as such, offers a fun and sociable environment to work within.Benefits:Structured support, training and development is provided by experienced team members.
