Job Description

Accounts Payable SupervisorLiverpool - with regular visits to other sites in Liverpool, St Helens and WarringtonFull Time Permanent £33,534 per annumOur client is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to provide and maintain the accurate processing of invoices and the payment of all invoices within the Group in accordance with the Group policies, Financial Regulations and Standing Orders.Our client is a complex organisation where no two days are the same! You’ll work within their Finance Team supporting all arms of the business. Within this role you’ll regularly visit other sites within the group in Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington.This is an important role in which you will:

  • Communicate processes and procedures to staff and other sections to ensure consistency and a common understanding is achieved
  • Maintain management controls over all aspects of the payment process including batch and payment controls and ensure processes comply with Financial Regulations & Audit recommendations.
  • Maintain effective POP processes and ensure compliance
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with the management team to deliver a seamless service to customers.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have strong Account Payable supervisory experience, with experience in shaping and implementing systems & procedures.
  • Be target driven with experience in a high volume accounts payable function.
  • Have experience of leading and managing a team in a large and complex organisation/function.
  • Have excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks to meet conflicting deadlines.

  • Have experience of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
  • Have strong Excel skills
  • Have a flexible working approach as you will be required to visit other offices within the group.
