Job Description

As an Applications Support Analyst, you will play a key role in helping the IT services team deliver a high-quality Windows desktop and application experience for end users. Your work will help to ensure a secure, up-to-date, and stable desktop environmentthat performs seamlessly and meets the requirements of the companys business goals.Client DetailsMichael Page are partnered with a global reputable law firm.DescriptionIn your first few weeks in this Applications Support Analyst role, you can expect to:

  • Highly professional individual who can thrive in a challenging and demanding working environment. The role holder will play a key role in helping users engage better with existing and new technology.
  • Can demonstrate a strong interest and understanding of Microsoft products and business applications. Has good knowledge of future product development and roadmaps, preferably in legal or professional technology services.
  • Shows confidence in communicating at all levels with the ability to quickly develop strong working relationships for effective collaboration.
  • Experience working as part of a dynamic project team with representation from IT and business stakeholders.
  • Highly developed written communication skills and capable of producing detailed and user- friendly documentation for a variety of different audiences.Legal industry or professional services experience would be an advantage.Good teamwork, organisationaland time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both within the team and with people across the business, demonstrating a collaborative, proactive approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail
ProfileTo succeed in the role, you will need to be a highly professional individual who can thrive in a challenging and demanding working environment. You will also need the following:
  • Office 365 services and Windows 10
  • Software and operating system configuration and deployment
  • Line of business applications, ideally within professional services or legal sectors
  • Group policy management
  • Active Directory
  • Software Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Endpoint Manager
Working knowledge and third-line support experience of the following is desirable.
  • Office Add-Ins for Office 365
  • iOS
  • iManage DMS
  • Desktop and mobile legal applications including time recording, digital dictation, document production/management and workflow services
Job OfferIn return for your knowledge and expertise, you will receive a salary of £38-£40,000 and a great benefits package.
