Our client, a well-established and hugely-successful MSP is spanning their workforce across the UK, seeking a 2nd Line Engineer to join them on a remote, permanent basis.The ideal candidate will be a strong 2nd Line Engineer, with experience in providing a high level of support to businesses and clients, both on day to day support and project work.Any Engineers with previous experience working in a support capacity for a Managed Services Provider would be at an advantage, however candidates with experience providing a mixture of support to a wide and varied user-base will also be considered.Key Responsibilities:- Managing help desk tickets along with project work for your designated list of clients- Attend sites across your region when required, providing a high level of customer service and on-site support- Work both independently and as part of a team- Make technical recommendations for clients based on their needs and requirements- Provide a high level of customer service to clients at all times, being the first point of contact for all technical questions and queries- Implement your technical knowledge, using best practise in order to meet SLAs for clientsTechnical Experience:- Windows Server 2003-2019- Hosted desktop and cloud computing- Office 365 tenant set up and administration- VMware / Hyper-V administration- Strong networking capabilities - DNS, routing, switching etc- VOIP experience - 2CX is advantageous- Cisco / DraytekThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading MSP in the industry, working with a huge range of clients providing a high level of technical support, both remotely and on-site.The ideal candidate will have access to their own vehicle with a full, clean UK driving license.CVs are being reviewed, so please apply now for immediate consideration.
