Job Description

Sales Support Co-ordinatorAn exciting position has become available for a Sales Support Co-ordinator based inLittleborough, Rochdale. The successful candidate will earn£20,000 - £23,000 (based on experience).This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm with the view to become permanent after a 3-month trial period.Role Requirements

  • 2-3-year experience in Business-to-Business sales dealings,
  • such as wholesale environment, ideally of electrical parts, but not indispensable as training will be provided.
  • Proficient with Excel calculation sheets, Microsoft tools and with a good understanding of multimedia platforms.
  • Effective communicator at all levels.
  • Team Player
  • Ideally available for immediate start
  • Sage or SAP experience
  • Purchasing & costing experience to generate quotes autonomously.
  • Role Responsibilities
  • Dealing with all sales orders coming in, via email, some via telephone, and input them in our IT system.
  • Monitor the production plan for daily meetings where delivery dates are reviewed.
  • Receiving enquiries, by email, by phone, or passed on by the Sales Manager, from customers, mainly in the commercial vehicle sector, for the following: -
  • Vehicle Lighting systems
  • Assembly and wiring kits and looms in a 12-24v dc environment
  • Control Boxes and Handsets
  • Being methodical in gathering information from the prospect regarding the job, such as: -
  • Specifications
  • Drawings
  • Components (designated suppliers specified, free-issued, or open)
  • Assembly requirements
  • The person in this role will be liaising with our customers, and with our Sales Manager, Production Manager and Engineers on a daily basis, so you must be an excellent communicator and team player, regarding:
  • Passing the information to the Engineering / Purchasing department to refine the enquiry
  • Liaise with the Production Manager to ascertain labour costs.
  • Pull all this information together and prepare a quote and send it to the customer.
  • Chase quotes and analyse feedback; establish statistics
