(Monday-Friday 8am till 4:30pm), Permanent (after 3-month trial period)LOCATION: Littleborough, Rochdale, OL15 9FGDESCRIPTION:Based in the scenic outskirts of Rochdale, bordering Yorkshire, our client is a small company of approximately 20 staff, specialised in producing electrical sub-assemblies to the Industrial Vehicle market, from Bodybuilders, to integrators, distributors and end-users.Due to expansion, especially into new ranges of products, a position of Sales Support Co-ordinator has now opened. The person in this role will be liaising with Customers and with the Sales Manager, Production Manager and Engineers on a daily basis, so you must be an excellent communicator and team player.This position is ideal for someone looking for a long term position with the company and who will grow with it. This position is purely office based.JOB ROLE (not limited to):Receive and analyse enquiries passed on from the Sales Manager and from customers, mainly in the commercial vehicle sector (12-24v dc environment), for the following: -· Vehicle Lighting systems· Electrical assemblies and wiring looms and kits· Control Boxes, Handsets and KeypadsGather further information from the customer / prospect regarding the enquiry: -· Specifications and drawings· Components types (specified, free-issued, or to be sourced)· Assembly requirementsCommunicating the information clearly· To the Engineering department to refine the enquiry· Research the correct components at the most competitive price.· Generate a BOM (Bill of materials), and eventually enter it on SAP· Help to get a drawing(s) produced.· Liaise with the production Manager to ascertain labour costs and efficient production method.· Pull all this information together and prepare a quote and send it to the customer.· Chase quotes and analyse feedback / order to quote statistics· Research other potential targets within the same identified sector nichesTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:· 2-3 Years experience in Business to Business Sales dealings, in a manufacturing environment, ideally of electrical parts.· Comfortable with Excel calculation sheets, Microsoft tools and with a good understanding of multimedia platforms.· Effective communicator at all levels.· Methodical, organised and autonomous· Team Player· Available for immediate start· Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UKDESIRED:· Sage or SAP experience· Purchasing & costing experience to generate quotes autonomouslyIn order to apply please send a C.V and covering letter by clicking on the apply button below.Keywords: Admin, Administration, Sales Admin, Sales Support, Sales Executive, Area Sales Representative, Sales Management, Sales Administrator, Sales,
