Job Description

Are you 16 or over if so, PMP Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for you to work as a RecyclingWarehouse Operative for a major international company in Rochdale, OL16 4NR! This is an essential role in the warehouse, we prepare trays for re-use in the distribution of food to the supermarket, and recycle cardboard and plastic.Pay rate as a Recycling Warehouse Operative:

  • Day shift: £9.14 per hour | Night shift: £11.73 per hour
  • 16 - 17yr olds: £8.91 per hour parity after 12 weeks
Typical hours as a Recycling Warehouse Operative:
  • Day shift: 06:00am until 18:00pm | Night shift: 18:00pm until 06:00am | You will be working on a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off
  • 16 - 17yr olds: You will be working between 6am to 6pm, max 40hrs per week (flexibility with shifts will be considered)
The Recycling Warehouse Operative role includes:
  • Loading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt, the trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers
  • Unloading cages and trays from trailers
