Job Description

Assembly Operative - PCB MachineAn exciting position has become available for a full time PCB Machine - Assembly Operative to join a friendly team based in Greater Manchester.The successful candidate will earn £19,000-£22,000 per year.As the PCB Machine Operator your main responsibilities will be to run and operate the PCB machines and to inspect and test the PCB board production.You will also be doing some general assembly work, and operate other machinery, within the workshop when required.Role Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience of working within electronic manufacturing.
  • Experience at running and operating PCB machines a must.
  • Knowledge of PCBs and of electronic components, necessary.
  • Experience with soldering for rework necessary
  • Fast learner.
  • Able to work independently and organise their own workload.
  • Show initiative in finding more lean/efficient ways to operate.
  • Experience of working other machines, an advantage
  • Willing to learn how to operate other machinery.
  • Immediate start desired.
    • Role Responsibilities
  • Operation and basic maintenance of PCB machines (stencil printer, pick & place, inspection vision, oven).
  • Programming, loading and running of pick and place machines ; Feeders maintenance
  • Basic stock control of electronic components.
  • Inspection and potential rework of PCB boards.
  • Hand placing of THT PCB components.
  • Testing of PCB and finished products.
  • General assembly work within the workshop.
  • Keeping machines and area clean and tidy.
    • Company Based in the scenic outskirts of Rochdale, bordering Yorkshire, our client is a small company of approximately 20 staff, specialised in producing electrical & electronic sub-assemblies to the Industrial Vehicle market, from bodybuilders, to integrators, distributors and end-users.Why should you apply
