Job Description

Assembly OperativeAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Assembly Operative to join a friendly team based in. The successful candidate will earn £8.91ph (April 21) to £9.20 per hour depending on experience.Hours of work will be 39.5 hours per week on flexi-time.Role Requirements

  • Previous experience of working within a factory/assembly, together with wiring, soldering or operating a plastic injection machine would be an advantage but is not essential.
    • Role Responsibilities
  • Follow drawings, instructions and works orders.
  • Use a variety of hand tools.
  • Undertake manual handling duties to assemble devices and looms.
  • Cutting, preparation and termination of various cables / connectors
  • Use of specific cutting, stripping, crimping machines.
  • Testing of assemblies at various stages
  • Have a keen eye for detail and have a quality-driven approach.
  • Soldering of cables to PCBs, PCB rework
  • Plastic moulding machine operation
  • Carry out your duties as requested by Team Leaders and Senior Management, your immediate supervisors
  • Work at a good speed
  • Ensure the work area is kept tidy at all times
  • Be aware of and work to high quality standards
  • Understanding and working in accordance with the Company Health and Safety Policy
    • Company Our client is a small company of approximately 25 staff, specialising in producing electrical & electronic sub-assemblies to the Industrial Vehicle market, from bodybuilders, to integrators, distributors, and end-users.Based in Littleborough on the scenic outskirts of Rochdale, bordering Yorkshire.Why should you apply
