Job Description

Their team is made up of passionate, inventive and energetic members who truly believe in creating great products toimprove human health.The RoleWe are recruiting for Manufacturing Chemists with a background inSynthetic Organic Chemistry. Essentially, the Manufacturing Chemist will have an in-depth understanding of purification and analytical techniques used in organic molecular manufacturing.Responsibilities include

  • Carry out synthesis of size complex organic molecules
  • Purification and analysis of complex organic molecules
  • Set up analytical instruments,preparation of samples and data analysis
  • Work according to regulatory and safety requirements, includingGMP and ISO13485 regulations.
  • Assist in assessing safety and quality risks and in advancingimprovements where required
  • Carry out quality and safety inspections
Requirements include
  • BSc in Chemistry
  • Experience in synthetic chemistry processes, purification and QC analysis of organic molecules
  • Have the ability to follow protocols when producing complex organic molecules
  • Have a solid background in synthetic organic chemistry, with experience of analytical methods used in organic chemistry manufacturing processes, such as HPLC
  • Experience in maintaining and calibrating equipment and instruments
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 manufacturing standards
  • Working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems with experience using SAP preferred
