A great opportunity for a dynamic supply chain professional to join a leading organisation as a Supply Chain Analyst on an initial Fixed Term Contract basis. This role will be responsible for managing and analysing stock to ensure optimum inventory levels are maintained.Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Analyst;Manage monthly controls, checks and reporting for stock.Ensure the Material returns process is managed in a compliant and effective manner.Drive inventory investigations where required to resolve issues.Responsible for the stock level reporting for obsolescence.Document inventory related SOPs to align with auditable process requirements.Actively support Continuous Improvement initiatives to drive Right first-time mentality.Ensure Monthly cycle stock reporting is enabled with monthly reports generated to reflect stock variance.Responsible for resolving inventory discrepancies identified through controls.Ensure that material can flow on time and in full.Personal Specification for the Supply Chain Analyst;Degree qualified or equivalent would be preferred.Proven experience of Inventory Management.Good working knowledge of MRP systems, preferably SAP.Excellent IT skills including Intermediate to advanced Excel.Strong numerical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.Ability to work well as part of a team.This role would suit you if you have held any of the following roles; Supply Chain Planner, Supply Planner, Supply Chain Controller, Production Planner, Production Controller, Materials Planner, Materials Controller or Inventory Controller.
