Job Description

Swinfen Hall Hotel has an exciting opportunity for some one to join there Wedding and Events team as a Wedding Co-ordinator / Planner, for large-scale marquee events and specialising in Asian themed weddings at the beautiful manor based in Lichfield.Swinfen hall prides itself on being the highest rated hotel in Staffordshire.As the Wedding Co-ordinator / Planner, you will be involved in all stages of the booking process: from initial enquiry, conducting show rounds, making the booking itself and liaising with and coordinating suppliers for the big day, and promoting the hotelvia social media.If you have experience coordinating marquee events and Asian themed wedding ceremonies and would love a rewarding role at a prestigious venue, we would love to hear from you.This is a permanent role with an immediate start for the right person.Requirements as a wedding Co-ordinator / Planner

  • You will manage inbound event enquiries over the phone and via social media channels, answering questions and booking viewings;
  • You will conduct wedding show rounds, providing general hospitality to ensure an exceptional customer experience;
  • You will promote the hotel in person and over social media channels, demonstrating your expert knowledge of the facilities in line with customer requirements to ensure bookings are made and secured;
  • You will finalise bookings and act as the liaison between the client and suppliers;
  • We want you to showcase the events through social media platforms.
  • You will also be required to undertake reception duties, including checking guests into their bedrooms and other day to day running of the hotel.
  • Conduct a range of business development tasks in order to grow and generate new business.
You will be the face of our significant marquee events (up to 600 people). We seek somebody with expertise in selling and coordinating large marquee and Asian themed wedding events within hotels.You will have worked in customer-facing positions and have demonstrable experience in understanding and accommodating guest requirements.Do you have the following
  • Previous event coordination hotels; sales
  • Strong social media skills
  • Sales experience - In any area .
  • Customer facing, hospitality, interpersonal experience
  • Positive person who can work Independently, proactive, flexible, adaptable in any environment
  • Excellent Time management, organisation skills
  • Can you Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Clear and effective communication
  • Working in a team and can adapt to different elements of the role
