Im currently recruiting a Supply Analyst for a leading Midlands based food and convenience retailer who pride themselves on their friendly and informal culture. In this role, you will be responsible for the optimsation of product availability in store via the management of inventory through the supply chain, ultimately ensuring sales are maximised.About the roleYou will be accountable for product availability, inventory management and supplier management in this exciting andchallengingrole. You will be responsible for helping the company achieve their sales targets by ensuring the right products are in the store at the right time, and within the agreed inventory budget. You will also ensure stock holding within the distribution network is maintained at the optimum level using historical sales data, promotional activity and in-season sales performance. The job holder will also be the first point of contact with suppliers, working collaboratively with them to forecast stock requirements and to manage inbound supply of their category.About the personTo be considered for this position, you will have experience of working in a Retail or FMCG Supply Chain environment where your experience in the industry will have seen you develop outstanding planning and forecasting skills. You must also be highly analytical, with strong numerical skills and with the ability to forge relationships with others in the business using your influencing and relationship building skills.
