This is very much a Back-office’ role, not front-facing. Development and support of members of the Corporate Actions team. Act as the first level of escalation for members of the Corporate Actions team.   • Ownership and oversight of Corporate Actions process - including ongoing process review, development and documentation.
  • Processing of Corporate Actions
  • Accurate maintenance of Corporate Actions MI and reports, for review by the CEO, MD and Head of Operations.
  • Act as the first level of escalation for members of the Corporate Actions team; communication of issues, as appropriate and required, to the Head of Operations.
  • Promotion and maintenance of effective and proactive communication within the Corporate Actions team, the operation department and client services.
  • Key accountabilities
  • Daily review and assessment of Corporate Actions notifications and related MI
  • Development and support of members of the Corporate Actions team; monitoring of task completion within the Corporate Actions team.
  • Processing of Corporate Actions
  • Prompt identification and investigation of exceptions related to Corporate Actions; assist other operational teams and customer services with any upcoming and/or ongoing Corporate Actions; prioritisation and assignment of tasks for completion and/or escalation.
  • Timely completion and submission of relevant reports and MI, as and when required.
  • Support of all operational processes.
  • Essential Functions
  • Ownership of Corporate Actions processes.
  • Escalation to the Head of Operations of any Corporate Actions which cannot be processed in a timely manner, which constitute a CASS or FCA breach, or which are/appear related to system error.
  • Development and support of the Corporate Actions team.
  • First stage escalation for the Corporate Actions team.
  • Competencies & Skills
  • Industry Knowledge; Corporate Actions, Asset Servicing, CASS and FCA compliance.
  • CISI would be advantageous but not essential
  • Critical evaluation and problem solving.
  • Communication skills.
  • Ability to appropriately delegate and to motivate others.
  • Ability to learn quickly, with a positive and proactive attitude to change.
