You can view our YouTube video to see more about our workJob descriptionThe ChallengeThis is an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Management Team (CMT) leader to head a team focussing on delivery of the Water and WasteWater (WWW) infrastructure and services in support of those living, working and training on the defence estate. The role will ensure collaborative working and building excellent relationships with providers and contractors. The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) has several Private Finance Initiatives (PFI) of which Aquatrine Water and Wastewater is one. The Team Leader will lead and manage the team to ensure that core contracted services are delivered in accordance with contract obligations and the law. The role will work closely with commercial and financial colleagues as well as Industry experts, Aquatrine Service Providers (ASPs) to ensure excellent standards of service. This is an opportunity to be a champion of continuous improvement, acting on customer feedback to drive improvement in performance, deliver changes to meet evolving needs and drive efficiency and value where appropriate. The Contract Management Team (CMT) is also responsible for 3 smaller Utility PFIs Tidworth Water and Sewerage, Lyneham Sewerage and Fylingdales Power. Working with Industry Experts to deliver WWW services, to the Defence Community, you will find no two days are the same and beyond the challenges is the satisfaction of knowing you are part of the team that ensures the provison of this key utility.ResponsibilitiesMain ResponsibilitiesAs the Aquatrine PFI CMT Team Leader you will be responsible for: • Leading a team of 13 people and be highly capable in working across functional boundaries with Commercial and Finance colleagues to build a high performing and integrated CMT. • Ensuring that core contracted services are delivered in accordance with the contract obligations and the law. • You will lead by example in setting the highest professional standards and living the DIO’s values. You will also value the individual members of the team and enable their personal and professional development. • Collaborative working is a key enabler to delivering with our PFI Partners.
