Job Description

Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)My client who are a global market leading Packaging Machining business are currently seeking an ambitious Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join their growing team. The Service Engineer will be covering the UK and occasional Global travel.The main job role will be visiting customer sites, servicing, installing and undertaking preventative maintenance work on my clients range of World Class Packaging Machinery and associated equipment.Key Skills & AttributesService Engineer

  • Candidates will ideally be qualified HNC, HND or degree level within a relevant engineering discipline or have successfully completed an engineering apprenticeship
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in maintaining and repairing purpose-built machinery
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of mechanical drawings and systems
  • Ability to diagnose faults and make recommendations of improvements
  • Ability to work alone and under pressure
  • Ability to communicate in all situations at all levels of an organisation
  • Full UK driving licence
