Job Description

GXO Logistics Supply Chain Inc.Are you an experienced inventory specialist looking for a next challenge Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment Do you want to work for a company that will allow you to grow and develop your careerWe are currently looking for full-time permanent Inventory First Line Managers to manage the development and day to day running of the warehouse management system and the inventory management function for our ASOS contract in Lichfield.We have various shifts/rotas availbale working either Sunday - Thursday, Tuesday-Saturday and Friday-Monday! (please note: shifts rotate between07:3016:00 and 15:30 - 00:00 on a weekly basis).Pay, benefits and more:Were looking to offer a salary of up to £27,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 21 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and the ability to purchase additional. Youll also have access to a workplace pension, and many other perks.What youll do on a typical day:

  • Operate Warehouse Management System (WMS) to identify and implement improvements to add value to the site, customer, and business
  • Oversee your team of Inventory Clerks and Distribution Centre Operatives to maintain stock accuracy and integrity, minimising stock loss though investigations and resolution of errors
  • Monitor reporting and WMS, highlighting to the Inventory Manager and Shift Managers on any issues that may be arise
  • Work on projects, conducting reviews to improve efficiencies and working practices
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Excellent understanding of stock control processes and maintaining the integrity of the stock at site
  • Extensive knowledge on warehouse management systems, preferably DLX but thats not essential as we can train you up!
  • IT literate, specifically MS Office with focus on Excel
  • Experience leading a team, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
