Job Description

An exciting new opportunity for a Payroll & HR generalist to join a growing organisation near Lichfield, Staffordshire. Supporting the Head of Payroll, overseeing a payroll function for 300 full time employees in the UK and Europe.Our client is offering hybrid working, 3 days a week in the office and 2 from home.In your new role you will actively assist with providing Payroll & HR support both administrative and practical, maintaining and managing processes including company car fleet management and invoicing.Your new role

  • Split approximately 75% payroll duties and 25% HR duties
  • Supporting employees to access ADP platform for their electronic payslips, P60s and P11Ds
  • Raising PO numbers and liaising with companies to raise invoices and pass for payment and approving invoices through dedicated systems and portals
  • Processing payroll input to provide accurate and timely payroll across 3 countries including UK & Ireland
  • Support the Payroll Manager with year end tasks, including P11Ds, P60s etc
  • Maintaining pension records for all current employees
  • Notifying benefit providers of any starters or leavers
  • Supporting the Payroll Manager with any audit requirements
  • Ensuring the correct correspondence is sent to employees regarding pay discrepancies, overpayments, sick pay/deductions and SSP
  • Provide accurate HR admin in relation to the employee lifecycle; Starters, leavers, promotions etc
  • Maintain personnel files for all employees
  • Monitoring all staff absence, inputting it for payroll purposes
  • Creating and distributing the company newsletter in partnership with business stakeholders to provide all UK employees with business news and updates
What youll need
  • 12 months + experience in payroll
  • High attention to detail
  • Formal HR or Payroll qualifications are desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of payroll systems, ideally ADP Freedom and streamline systems would be beneficial
