The Creative Games department are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled teacher to support our HNC Games Production course and L2 / L3 Games Production Provision, working with our amazing Games and Esports team which has seen significantgrowth and investment by the college.Candidates need to support our high expectations in supporting our learners, developing their craft, requiring a high level of technical competence and up to date knowledge of practical Games production practices, and in supporting learners in their progressiontowards games-based careers. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of working in production environments, and a proactive approach towards maintaining and developing new skills to support the rapidlyevolving technologies and software used in the games industry.This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to help play a vital role in further building our provision which is growing from strength to strength, and in supporting the regions aspirations as a digital and creative county.The successful applicant will have a degree in Games Production, a full teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS) or looking to work towards such, together with experience of teaching. They should also be confident in their use of Games Production softwaresuch as Unreal, C++ and other suitable technologies which may include previous experience in use of our Vicon motion capture studio.Interviews are anticipated to be held Tuesday 11th July 2023What you can expectfrom us - We care about your wellbeing so have a number of activities all year that provide support.
