Job Description

To be successful in this role you will need to be energetic, approachable, truthful and open to challenge, and most importantly accountable for the delivery of marketing projects.Role ScopeAs part of the marketing department, this in-house role combines content creation and the delivery of marketing campaigns in supporting the promotion of the agency to potential clients. You will create content and campaigns that speak to the needs of prospective clients and showcase the successful track record and points of difference of the agency.This role will be fast paced and challenging. You will be responsible for creating and promoting useful and high-quality content including blogs, eBooks and email campaigns, working with external designers and specialists within the agency. You will also support the group marketing director in the development of the agency’s marketing proposition.This successful candidate will already be highly organised and have excellent planning and communication skills. They will be a talented writer who can understand digital marketing concepts and prospects’ business issues and is able to create useful, practical content about both.Responsibilities of the role

  • Proactive running of the social media accounts for the agency according to plan.
  • Responsibility for the maintenance of a content calendar and working with colleagues, its delivery.
  • Work with the SEO team to increase the volume of relevant traffic to the agency’s website.
  • Writing blog content, both independently and working with colleagues, to an agreed plan.
  • Working with a designer, create and promote eBooks and white papers that speak to our customer’s needs.
  • Creating, editing and sending email campaigns to support overall marketing activity.
  • Writing and distributing agency press releases e.g. announcing new hires, new clients and awards wins.
  • Production of marketing materials, such as product one-pagers, to help assist the sales team.
  • Working with others, seek to incorporate audio and video assets into our content output.
  • Working with colleagues, writing case studies that highlight the stellar results we have achieved for clients.
  • Producing weekly reporting on marketing and telemarketing activity.

  • Excellent writing skills, with experience in creating content to deadlines.
  • General understanding of digital marketing practices.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.

  • Be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Desirable Skills
  • B2B marketing experience, either agency or client-side.
  • Experience in using HubSpot or similar CRM / email marketing tools.
  • Experience in using social media management software.
  • Experience in using basic graphics/image programs.
  • Experience in running digital marketing campaigns e.g. paid search, display or email.
  • Marketing qualifications.
