Job Description

Job Title: Client Rate Advisor Salary: £24,000Location: Lichfield (Hybrid) Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm Description:We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our well established and successful client based in Lichfield.A Client Rate Advisors responsibility is to gather basic hire rate data and information from a variety of sources and produce reports and supporting evidence, in relation to hire car availability.This role will include the creation of draft statements to be submitted to court in support of non-fault motorists claims for hire charges, covering temporary replacement vehicles.Key Duties:

  • Produce evidential rate statements required for presentation at the relevant courts for small track claims
  • Prepare accurate statements for production in court in relation to the period of hire and liability, and in support of non-fault motorists presented case
  • Maintain effective customer contact using a variety of communication channels and respond in a timely and constructive manner
  • Handling and managing enquiries and requests for documentation in relation to road traffic collisions
  • Attend court and present evidence in respect of non-fault motorists claims
  • Present in a confident and compelling manner under cross examination, confident in the evidence prepared
  • Liaise with the non-fault motorists appointed Solicitor and Barristers as required and provide support to clients that are in attendance at court
  • Carry out reasonable tasks as requested by your line Manager, whilst fully observing and complying with GDPR
Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of both mainstream and prestige vehicle specifications
  • The ability to recognise the Claimants needs and requirements for the vehicle
  • Ideally a general understanding of the GTA and ABI (Association of British Insurers) in terms of car hire provision
  • Competent with using (MS Office) MSWord and Excel
  • Effective time management and planning skills with ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects
  • Ability to write compelling and evidence-based draft statements for court proceedings
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to manage expectations and timescales of stakeholders and senior leadership in order to ensure recovery of claims
  • Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
  • Persuasive and possessing good ability to present evidence in a simple, clear, and compelling narrative
