  • An understanding and awareness of housing issues, the initiatives designed to tackle and prevent homelessness, and of government policy relating to housing need and homelessness

What you will be doing:You will have a critical role in providing specialist tenancy related support to vulnerable people who are at risk of becoming homeless. You will work with service users with complex mental health needs to live independently and remain in their own home.You will act as the main point of contact for tenants and landlords in order to answer any queries and troubleshoot any issues throughout the life of tenancies and also act as the conduit between MPFT Mental Health services and the local authorities.You will assist in the delivery of a high standard of support to service users that have been identified as vulnerable and at risk of losing their home.You will be responsible for working in partnership with agencies external to the Trust supporting service users to maintain their independence within their preferred place of residency in the independent and non-statutory sector.Please check out our videos showcasing why you should work for MPFT and the career progression and development available to you at MPFT.
