Job Description

Sales Executive - Export£20,000 PrestonMonday- Friday - 8.30 - 5pmIm currently recruiting for an Sales Executive to join an established company in Leyland.This is a newly created role and will work with the existing Sales department. The Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the business through inbound enquiries and making outbound sales calls.My client is looking for a Sales Executive who has varied skills to bring to the team. They are really keen to see what the candidate has to offer and are searching for someone who is bright, hungry, hard working, has vision and wants to progress and develop within an innovative and inclusive company. They want someone who wants to make the job their own and is genuinely excited about this prospect.Key Responsibilities of the Sales Executive

  • Provide technical support to develop existing product groups and look for new product opportunities. Provide technical customer support / parts identification.
  • Deal with export enquiries
  • To take enquiries from customers by phone and email and prepare quotations, process customer orders, process customer and supplier returns.
  • Build and negotiate profitable business relationships with existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods.
  • Work with electronic parts catalogues identifying part numbers.
  • Work with suppliers to obtain competitive costs
  • Work with the existing team to develop existing and new product groups.
  • Ensure excellent communication with all departments to promote strong working relationships.
  • The Candidate
  • Knowledge of the automotive aftermarket, preferable but not essential
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience in product development, advantageous, but not essential
  • Experience in using electronic parts catalogues, advantageous, but not essential
  • Experience of supplying to Dealer Networks, advantageous, but not essential
  • Driven and looking for an opportunity to grow
  • Great problem solving skills
  • Very good communication skills
  • Able to work as part of a team and sharing ideas
  • Computer literate with use of Microsoft packages
  • Ability to work to very tight deadlines
