Job Description

Estimator - Passive Fire ProtectionJob Title: Estimator - Passive Fire ProtectionIndustry Sector: Estimator, Estimating, Fire Curtains, Domestic Fire Curtains, Smoke Curtain, Fire Control, Smoke Control, Fire Doors, Fire Prevention, Domestic, Homeowners, Private Homeowners, Developers, Architects, Main ContractorsLocation: North West OfficeRemuneration: £25,000 - £35,000 Benefits: Full Benefits Package The role of the Estimator - Passive Fire Protection will involve:

  • Estimator position producing estimates for various passive fire protection projects for the healthcare, education, commercial and industrial sectors
  • Liaise with client, read specifications and gain an understanding of projects
  • Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed quotations within the timeframe provided
  • Following up all submitted tenders, receiving feedback from clients and updating records accordingly
  • Keep up to date with passive fire and fire stopping regulations
  • Continue to develop relationships with clients to secure further business
  • Liaise regularly with sales team and Contracts Manager to ensure smooth running of processes
  • Prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met
  • Will be required to travel to site where required
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Passive Fire Protection industry with:
  • Must have Estimating experience within the passive fire protection market sector
  • Must possess sound knowledge of FIRAS & Building Regulations
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
  • Must be a great team player
  • Must be a hard worker thats ready to get stuck in
  • Full UK driving license
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
