Job Description

School CleanerAurora Brambles School is an independent day school in Lancashire providing specialist education for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).What is bank/casual workOur bankstaff usually cover staff sickness, holiday and busy periods and they are able to choose what days they want to work, giving them a great deal of flexibility. The main purpose of the role:To provide a cleaning service for the school across alltypes of rooms, including offices, classrooms, laboratories, halls, corridors, and toilets.Key Duties:Like many SEN environments; your duties are likely to vary and therefore candidates will need to be flexible and be able to lend a handwhenever required. Skills and Qualifications:Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

  • Some knowledge of Health and Safety Regulation in regards to cleaning equipment and cleaning materials.
  • Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the school team.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to prioritise work and be flexible.
  • Experience of undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
