Job Description

Our client, a reputable based in Lancashire, is currently recruiting for an ASB Officer to join them on a temporary basis. The job is for 3 months initially with an immediate start. The rate for this position is negotiable depending upon experience.You will be required to (not an exhaustive list):

  • Investigate complaints of anti-social behaviour including interviewing, observing and making copious file notes
  • Gather evidence from complainants and prepare witness statements
  • Assess witness statements and progress to legal action as and when deemed appropriate
  • Produce a case file for each case of anti-social behaviour
  • Produce and retain a Health & Safety Risk Assessment for each case undertaken
  • Co-ordinate the input of Association staff and external agencies in each case of anti-social behaviour
  • Participate in the Community Safety Partnership Working to assist in the Prevent and Deter programme and Prolific Offender programme
  • Undertake the referral of clients to appropriate support agencies to assist in the support of the victim(s) and the perpetrator(s) when appropriate
  • Enforce tenancy conditions in cases other than anti-social behaviour where action by other staff has been unsuccessful
  • Serve NOSP’s and NTQ’s
  • Prepare court papers for injunction and possession applications
  • Experience required:
  • Experience of working within the Social Housing sector
  • Enforcement of tenancy conditions in relation to ASB cases
  • Experience of dealing with court preparation or attending court

  • Monday - Friday with 50 minute breaks
