Job Description

  • Remotely supporting clients on hardware, software and network issues
  • Repairing, maintaining and upgrading computers, servers and network infrastructure equipment
  • Carrying out day to day helpdesk support, web host, emails and Microsoft 365 admin
  • Backing up, deploying and monitoring disaster recovery
  • Effectively resolving client issues with a variety of software and dealing with 3rd party suppliers as and when required
  • Conducting site visits to schools and businesses as and when needed
For this 1stLine IT Support Engineer position, we are interested in speaking to people with:
  • Previous experience in an IT support position helping customers remotely.
  • Experience with supporting Windows OS (Server 2012-2019), Office 2016, Office 365 and some network configuration, connectivity and troubleshooting
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and can-do personality with an ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to problem-solve/find a workaround
  • Any experience/knowledge of, or willingness to learn all or some of the following: Web Host Management, VoIP systems, Veeam, Hyper-V, VMware, and/or AzureAD
  • Ability to pass a DBS check due to working in schools
