Teaching Assistant - ASD ProvisionAre you a graduate looking for an exciting new opportunity and have a passion for SENA creative, holistic SEN Primary School in Lewisham is looking for a confident, ambitious Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs and with a specific focus on ASD. This role will begin in September 2022 asa full-time role across EYFS, KS1, KS2.You will be working alongside a motivated team of specialist teachers, various therapists and inclusion staff as a Teaching Assistant, helping manage the classroom environment, creating exciting activities and deliver tailored programmes to pupils usingthe extensive equipment at the school.The ideal candidate for this SEN Teaching Assistant role would be a graduate searching for the perfect role to start their career in education, or an individual passionate about SEN who is looking to work alongside the best specialist staff and equipmentsuch as Speech and Language Therapists, Hydro therapists, Psychologists and more!Additionally, this is a perfect role to provide a valuable experience for aspiring Psychologist, SEN teachers, Therapist, Primary School Teachers and more. About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role
  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN requirements.
  • Work 1:1 with children who have ASD
  • Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils.
  • High quality and bespoke CPD will be provided.
  • Strong inclusion team to support you.
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant
  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish within.
  • Previous experience working with children.
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion in supporting those with Special Educational Needs.
