Job Description

Supported Housing Manager – £37,440 rising to £38,938 on successful completion of 6-month probation + Benefits – LewishamThe RoleDo you have the leadership skills to deliver high-quality housing management services Are you experienced in enhancing the lives of those with mental health needs through supportive housing If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.As a Supported Housing Manager at Quo Vadis Trust (QVT), you will oversee the delivery of client-focused, enhanced housing management services. You will lead a team of Housing Officers and Relief Workers, ensuring the provision of comprehensive support toour clients, aligning with QVT’s strategies and values.Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week 8am-4pm Mon-Fri excl Bank Holidays Manager On-Call Commitment for one week every quarter (extra pay provided).Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Supported Housing Officers to provide efficient, responsive housing management services.
  • Handle initial complaints, maintaining records and conducting trend analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, maintenance, and cleanliness standards across all schemes.
  • Liaise with maintenance teams and external agencies to minimise voids and maintain property standards.
  • Conduct regular audits for health & safety and maintenance compliance.
  • Facilitate monthly house meetings and ensure client engagement with SMART goal setting.
  • Oversee the InForm database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Line manage Housing Officers, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

The Person
  • Proven experience in housing management, preferably within a mental health context.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of current housing issues, health & safety, and mental health needs.
  • Experience of managing a team, rotas and a budget.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including participation in an on-call rota.
  • Commitment to QVT’s values of dignity, respect, integrity, and kindness.
