Job Description

Maths TeacherLocation: LewishamSalary: £150 - £240 per dayStart Date: 19th Feb 2024Contract Type: Short Term until 1st March 2024Are you passionate about shaping young minds and instilling a love for mathematics We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team at a coeducational comprehensive secondary school in Lewisham. This is an exciting opportunityto make a real impact on students lives and contribute to their academic success.Maths Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to promote active participation and critical thinking.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that inspires a love for Maths among students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the Maths department and the school.
Maths TeacherRequirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
