Trainee EngineerFull Time - Permanent18,000-25,000KAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Engineer to join our clients established business in the Warrington area.The principle purpose of the role is to be assisting the Engineering Department to provide engineering and technical support to a variety of developments throughout the design and construction process whilst gaining the necessary skills through on the job training to progress to the next level.Key responsibilities include:• Assist with the commissioning of site surveys and reports from external consultants and the design team• Attend and contribute to design team, engineering, pre-start and site progress meetings as required for each development• Assist in the review and checking of design solutions for road and sewers, foundations, drainage and proposed levels etc. for technical approval submissions and procurement packages• Assist with the procurement of utilities packages for new developments, registration of meter numbers and distribution of information• Ensure that construction information is up to date ad fully distributed• Assist in the collation of tender stage information• Assist in the production of estate boundary approvals and plot deed plans• Assist in the securing of relevant Technical approvals• Provide general assistance to other teams during the construction phaseSkills, Qualifications and Experience:The ideal candidate will be somebody with an active interest in engineering and housebuilding who has undertaken relevant study/work experience at NHC/HND level. You will be highly organised and able to co-ordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
