Job Description

Service Engineer required for an air compressor specialist. The role will be to contribute to the profitability of the companys business by providing professional and efficient service of Air compressors & ancillary Equipment. Reporting to the Airflow servicemanager you will be ideally based Lancashire/Greater Manchester/Cheshire to provide service & maintenance on customers machines.Service Engineer - Air Compressors Position Overview

  • To promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on customer machines.
  • To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment, field and workshop based.
  • To carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment.
  • To Carry out install of new equipment and pipework.
  • To identify required parts to effect repairs.
  • To complete job reports correctly and return in a timely manner.
  • If required, to plan and organise daily and weekly visit schedules.
  • To maintain test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition.
Service Engineer - Air Compressors Position Requirements
  • You will have current experience of repairing and servicing at least some of the following equipment:
  • Compressors
  • Dryers
  • N2 Systems
  • Pumps
  • Plant machinery
  • You will possess a good knowledge of the compressor industry, be self-motivated and be able to work individually and as part of a team. As you are customer facing you will have excellent interpersonal skills, be PC literate & hold a clean driving licence.
Service Engineer - Air Compressors Position Remuneration
  • Regarding salary, depending upon experience £32-35k + upto 5% bonus (paid annually) they can earn between £3-5k overtime per annum
