Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant for our sister company Diamond Logistics. Great Opportunity for an organised, persistent and enthusiastic person to join our team.You’ll need to understand the difference between a carrier and a courier, know your pallets from your consignments and preferably have industry experience. You’ll be motivated by making appointments, and earning incentives for the account you help land.Role:

  • Outbound calls to prospects
  • Sourcing own lead data online
  • Arranging appointments with new and existing clients
  • Work to targets for number of outbound calls, appointments generated and lead generation.
  • Maintain great records

  • diamondovernight – Overnight Domestic and International Delivery
  • diamondsameday - Sameday Express Courier Services
  • diamondfulfilment – E-commerce fulfilment including storage, pick & pack and despatch
    • LOCATION: Leigh, WN7 3PTHOURS: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pmBASIC SALARY: £19,000 to £28,000 dependant on experience, plus commissionGraduates are welcome to apply for the role also!EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Attention to detail with a passion for sales and customer service. Time management skills are essential as are communication (phone and writing) skills, the ability to prioritise and to work under pressure of workload is also a necessity. A good head for numbers is required.Previous Experience in Logistics (ideally with a Major parcel carrier) is desirable but not essential, as we know that it is a “people person” role and personality plays a big part in being successful in this position, although Outbound telesales experience is deemed essential.
