Are you an organised Pupil Support Worker looking for your next role in LeighTradewind are currently recruiting for a hardworking and experienced Pupil Support Worker to work in a Secondary SEMH School in Leigh. The role is for a full academic year starting 7th June until July 2021 with the potential of going permanent.We are recruiting for a Pupil Support Worker for a Secondary SEMH school within Leigh. The SEMH School in Leigh provides education for Secondary age children from KS3 - KS4, they aim to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning so that all children can achieve their academic potential.Within your role will be working with an ASC class with 5 pupils and the teacher in the afternoon you may be required to do some 1-2-1 intervention work for literacy and numeracy, work will be set by the class teacher. MAPA training is desirable not essential as training can be provided.They ensure that they foster and develop the social and emotional well-being of their children as well as concentrating on developing the potential of their staff. Pay starts from £65 per day dependent on experience up to £80 per day. The school also has a large onsite staff parking with close links to the motorway and a bus stop located outside the school.The school has students with a wide range of with challenging behaviour and Social and Emotional behavioural difficulties and ASD. As a Pupil Support Worker, you will be supporting within class and maybe required to cover a class of no more than 8 pupils. Work will be set by the class teacher; marking wont be required however you will be expected to do a small write up on the class etc.This school also encourages and healthy and active approach to everyday school life.As a Pupil Support Worker, you will have the support of a cohesive and committed Support Team and SLT. Plus, the successful Pupil Support Worker you will be provided with a comprehensive induction package and a wide range of CPD opportunities for all staff.
