Job Description

Tradewind are recruiting!Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of our client Wigan Secondary School, a faith-based institution with a Good Ofsted rating, are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Female PE Teacher to join their team starting in April 2023 until July 2023. Witha student population of over 1500 11- to 18-year-olds, our client school is dedicated to providing a high-quality education that is both challenging and nurturing.The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching PE across KS3 and KS and will be expected to deliver engaging and challenging lessons to inspire and motivate our students.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and events
Requirements:
  • UK qualified teaching status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student progress and well-being
