Job Description

Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a Construction Teacher on the lookout for a role at a Wigan secondary school How about working 4 days per week but receiving pay for a full weekTradewind are supporting a secondary school in Wigan who are currently seeking a Construction Teacher for a long-term role potentially for the full academic year. This position is 4 days per week but the successful candidate will receive pay for 5 days (not working a Wednesday). The successful Construction Teacher will be required to teach across KS3 and KS4 and can expect pay up to £211.96 per day (depending on experience).The successful Construction Teacher will be joining a secondary school who focus on developing positive working relationships with students and parents/carers which is symbolic of their drive to consistently improve standards.The essentials:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (applicants from an FE/HE setting would be considered)
  • Experience teaching Construction across KS3 and KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10 year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
