Job Description

Art TeacherWiganJanuary 2024Prospero Teaching are looking for an Art teacher to work on a supply basis in secondary school in Wigan for a 4 week, short term contract starting in January 2024.You will also be expected to teach all key stages from KS3 & 4. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistant/management.You must have experience working in a similar role within secondary schools to be considered.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Wigan
  • Position - Art Teacher
  • Start date - January 2024
  • Duration - 4 weeks
  • Contract type - Full Time
  • Minimum rate of pay - £120 per day
  • Hours - 8:15AM - 4:00PM Monday to Friday
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Previous experience working in a school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
  • Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
