Bi-lingual Specifications Technologists - Food Science Location: East Midlands or Home Counties basedSalary: £25-32,000 + benefitsWe are seeking a team of Specifications Data Administrators to join our Client to deliver their global Data preparation activities for a food specifications program, across- Europe and or APAC.The role:Data entry of R&D specification documents to "End State" or intermediate solution - in a standardised, consistent format in a variety of European and or APAC locationsAnalyzing documentation in the following representative areas, and transforming parameters into data in end state system or intermediate solution, including but not limited to:- Ingredient Specifications inc Ingredient Composition, Allergens, Nutritionals, Parameters, Claims- Semi-Finished Formula Specifications- Formula Specifications inc Composition, Allergens, Nutritionals, Parameters, Claimso Process Specificationso Packaging Specificationso Finished Product Specifications- Follow work instructions and document maps to digitize documents, following Data Governance instructions- Work with the Data Preparation Team and R&D Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), as needed, to confirm/facilitate closure of data gaps- Prepare the data, with the assistance of Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) where necessary, in a format to transfer to the global end state system or intermediate solution- Prepare data sets as required to enable potential technology unlocks in data preparation strategy- Validate output of technology unlocks for initial assessment of accuracy of data capture- Execute data migration activities to enable transfer into the global end state system or intermediate solutionThe people:Degree and/or MSc educated in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Marketing or another relevant science based tertiary qualificationYou will either be newly graduated seeking a career in a global food organization or seeking a 12 month internship as part of your degree or have industry experience gained in an R&D Specifications environment within the food sector. Self starter and able to work autonomously Equally able to work in a team or individuallyMust be able to travel occasionally to closest office either Reading or LeicesterExperience handling large amounts of dataAble to work with proficiently with Microsoft Office suites.Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in transcribing dataAbility to meet deadlinesExcellent communication skillsFluent in English (Read, Write, Oral) and ideally one of the following languagesFluent in a European language (e.g. Spanish, Italian, Flemish, Turkish, Russian, French, German, Polish, Greek etc)And/or Fluent in Asian languages (e.g. Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, Arabic, Thai)Experience in Data Preparation & Migration ActivitiesExperience with R&D Specifications within the Food industryExperience in relevant field (IT, Food Science, Data Entry)Experience with AI, Machine Learning, Data ModelsTo apply please email your CV
