Job Description

Solar PV Installations Manager to deliver construction maintenance building services upgrades to various premises. Based from home covering schemes across a number of UK locations including site visits and office meetings. Specialising in Biomass, Gas CHP,Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pumps.Client DetailsA successful and rapidly growing heating & power business based in the Midlands delivering renewable maintenance upgrades across the UK.   • Based from home overseeing the delivery of various sustainable construction installs.
  • Specialising in Biomass, Gas CHP, Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pumps.
  • Reporting into the Managing Director managing a growing team.
  • The candidate will be ambitious and will want to establish themselves as a senior figure in the business as Head of Electrical Generation Technologies.
  • Commercial management & procurement.
  • Initially the business will develop along twin tracks of self-install and subcontracted supply and install.
  • The candidate will map out the journey to become an installer, progressively recruiting key people to deliver the projects.
  • Being an experienced installer themselves, the candidate will know how to deliver a successful installation and will ensure we develop an industry delivery and service capability.
  • The candidate will form part of the senior leadership team and will be expected to participate in the ongoing refinement of the strategic direction of the business.
Profile
  • Previous experience as a renewable technologies installer.
  • On-site construction experience specialising in Biomass, Gas CHP, Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pumps.
  • Currently leading an installation team installing a large number of sustainable technologies.
  • The candidate will have all necessary qualifications for PV solar panel and gas CHP installation.
  • The candidate will have a safety qualification enabling them to take CDM lead on a site.
  • An electrical qualification is desirable but good experience of installing electrical generating plant is essential.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
