Service Engineer - Forklifts Coalville, Leicestershire Up to £34000 per annum (dependent upon experience) Realistic earnings over £40k Monday to Friday, 40 per week with OT paid at premium rate (x1.5) SF Engineering is currently recruiting a Service Engineer to work for a leading manufacturer of construction materials based near Coalville. With nationwide coverage this manufacturer has a strong hold on the construction market and is going through a considerable period of growth. Your Job You will be responsible for a large fleet of Linde counterbalance forklifts (diesel). 3 - 12 tonne trucks that require full service and maintenance. You will be working a 6am -2pm shift with occasional Saturday cover during PPMS. As this is a new opening for a skilled fitter, you will have full autonomy on the way you work! Other duties include: - Maintenance of heavy industry forklifts - Develop a PPM Schedule to minimise down time - Electrical and Mechanical fault finding - Stock take and ordering of relevant parts - taking priority of reactive breakdowns - Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities - Ensuring Health & Safety policy and procedures are adhered to You - Previous experience as a service engineer either in the field or static withing a busy manufacturing environment - Fully qualified (electrically or mechanically) - Experience of PPMS and reactive maintenance - Experience of working in a noisy, dusty environment - Experience in managing large workloads and highly pressurised environment - Good communication skills - IT literate - Own transport You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
