You will also be responsible for the management accounts production.This role is a unique opportunity where progression to Financial Controller level is already built into the planned development. The line manager for this role is looking to pass on duties steadily during the first year before moving acrossto a different division within the company once the successful applicant is ready!Also built into the opportunity is a great benefits package including the long-term viability of remote working. After a 6-month settling in period doing 3 days in the office a week, you will be able to opt to become mostly remote based. Flexible start and finish times are available from start date too, ideal to allow you to fit work aroundyour personal life.Role: Senior Management Accountant – Step to Financial Controller within 12 months.Location: Dual Site – In Leicestershire and Coventry.Salary: Up to £55,000The Opportunity:- Preparation of monthly management accounts for the business unit. This includes variance analysis, balance sheet and capex reporting.- Quarterly budgeting and forecasting.- Supporting with cashflow forecasts.- Business Partnering with senior leadership on business cases and commercial finance activities.- Reporting to group finance to discuss business units.- Identification and implementation of process improvements and financial controls.For this role, it is important that you:- Are a fully ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant.- Possess substantial experience with management accounts- Are able to commute across two sites in Leicester and Coventry on a hybrid basis.- Have strong excel skills.- Are a confident communicator.If this role excites you, please do make sure to submit an application asap.
